Definition: Labor and Lease (real estate) are activities that can be added to nodes. These can be automatically generated and linked to reference data costs or node specific.
Automatically generated activities: By configuring a facility type to have labor or lease costs, the activity will be generated automatically for each node. And these activities will be sensitive to reference data--meaning if you move the node to a different location, it will pick up a different labor and lease rate.
1. Go to Scenario selector>>configuration>>facilities
2. For the type of facility, add in the fixed or variable rate of costs
a. for labor, costs are either in hours (fixed) or hours/unit flow (variable). The hour per unit just means how much time of labor is consumed for each unit of flow
b. for lease, the units are area (fixed) or area/unit flow (variable), again the variable rate is just asking to input the amount of area that is increased for each unit of flow.
Uploaded or Interface added activities: for this you can follow the standard instructions on adding an activity
