Logility Network Optimization

Answer:  You can use Logility Network Design in any country with the exception of Western Sahara and Kashmir.  In every country, you can place nodes and connect nodes with the mode FTL f(x).

Logility does like to research geographies in order to:

1. Verify that our geocoding operates as expected.

2. Establish the key market hubs for gathering reference data

3.  Identify any sources of transportation, lease, and labor data.

When we refer to Geography, this is an area that serves as a continuous area within which we build matrices for transportation rates.  For example:  North America is a "geography" and it consists of the US and Canada.  Users can find FTL rates between any zip code in either of these countries, but they will not find an FTL lane between a Canadian postal code and a Brazilian postal code because Brazil is a different geography.

NOTE:   FTL f(x) and Ocean modes can be used regardless of geography and users can always load their own transportation rates.
